All Breeds All Britain Calf Show 2023 9th/10th October

Congratulations to all the young members and breeders who participated in the National All Breeds All Britain Calf Show this weekend…. showcasing the Brown Swiss breed and the next generation of enthusiasts of the breed. There were highly competitive classes in the coloured breeds showmanship on the Saturday, with two Brown Swiss handlers stealing top honours in the senior and mature handling classes – Neil Hodge (senior handler) going on to be Champion Brown Swiss Handler and David Howat (mature handler) Reserve with Hon. Mention awarded to Adam Smith.
Of the 26 calves entered for the Sunday – it was the winner of the December – February class that took Champion Calf, congratulations go to T Lochhead and Son on their win with Kedar Dreamer Sanchia La Vista and Reserve and Hon Mention both came from the first class of the day, in Reserve Kedar Calvin T Shirt owned by Willhome Farm Barn and Toi Toi Genetics in Hon Mention with Toi Toi Pavlova.
